The goal of IABC is to establish a reference point, aggregation, and information hub for Italian businesses and professionals already present or intending to establish operations in Albania.

Albania is described as a young, open, competitive, and commercial nation that supports private enterprise, free markets, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The Council's vision is to promote the development of economic, cultural, and social relations between Italy and Albania. To this end, IABC supports the establishment of similar associations in Albania and collaborates with them to maximize Italian presence in the region.

The objectives of IABC include :

• promoting cooperation and joint ventures between Albania and Italy 
• encouraging the exchange of information between Albanian and Italian companies 
• organizing commercial, industrial, professional, and cultural events, facilitating mutual understanding between the two peoples, promoting Italian companies in Albania 
• developing commercial and economic activities between the two countries 
• supporting bilateral visits of commercial delegations between the two countries 
• supporting Italian and Albanian government institutions and other entities/organizations in their activities aimed at developing commercial, economic, and cultural relations between the two countries 
• developing cultural and social events as tools to promote relations and understanding between Albania and Italy 
• providing Italian and/or Albanian language courses to promote Italian and/or Albanian culture.
